What’s wrong with pen and paper and your darken the dot of the candidate you choose?
Are these machines standard everywhere?
 Makes it harder to cheat
Yes. Are these standard everywhere in the states?
I'm not sure how ubiquitous they are in the US, but I haven't heard of any other systems. It would make sense that it was centralised if they wanted to mess with the results.

Could it be that the machines are terrible quality? Maybe rushed to production, and the company gave lots of corruption money to make sure the machines are everywhere?
Yeah, certainly a possibility. There's a lot of mixed information regarding those machines, like I heard links to Ukraine and them being used in Venezuela, but when looking it up I couldn't verify those claims.

I try to remain unbiased since I have no dog in the fight and I'm not American, but I think the evidence for cheating in 2020 is quite clear, but how much they relied on the machines to do so is difficult to say.
What I don’t understand is: they used the ballots to show that paper and pencil votes were inefficient. But why would it become inefficient only that year specifically. Was there similar issues in the past?
I don't think so. I mean, the number one issue is how they fight against voter ID and try to call it racist. It literally makes no sense.
Why would people do it wrong? Usually people take elections seriously. Doesn’t make sense unless they gave them bad instructions OR fraud
I think all of the above are possible. I do find it interesting that the errors seem to go only one way. I think it's worth discussing and that's why I posted it
Oh wait…so the erroneous ballots were always votes for Red?
Trend towards Blue from what I've seen. The anomalies always seemed to
I want to make sure I understand. The erroneous ballots were votes for Republicans…and then they changed it to Democrats?
At least the videos and call outs I've seen were votes for Red changed to blue. Would genuinely want to see the evidence of errors go the other way
Wait I’m confused. I was talking about what John mentionned in 2020. So they did the same in 2020 and now?
 From what I've seen, yes.

I've also seen videos of people who never voted but were marked as voting for Democrats. I can think of a single instance of seeing these issues go towards Republicans, which is why it seems so suspicious.
 It’s definitely suspicious
Everyone seems to forget the Bush vs Gore. Fake ballots, legal arguments etc etc etc.

This shit has been happening forever. Every single election is 100% fraud.
So this happenned before. And that time I imagine it was only paper ballots?
I think with anything that involves 300+ million people there is fraud. The effort has always been to minimize it so results are valid ish...

For example last place I worked, 50% of online purchase attempts were fraud... So you had to reduce the ones you accept to minimal or business fails
50% is invalid in order to keep the business going. So purchase marked as fraud: null and void. Did they do the same with the election: where they just cancelled the fraudulous ballots? Or they changed them?
 No idea 😁
I guess it amounts to the same. Wether you cancel a bunch of ballots from side 1 or you change them to side 2, it’s still an advantage for side 2
 Exactly. 👍
 Very good questions. ☝️
Use Splunk. Ingest logs, find trends, identify fraud.

It doesn’t have to be as fraudulent as it is. 300m people or not. IMO.
I don’t remember if it was “only paper” or a mix but miscounting & stealing elections has been around a long time.
Bush had to be elected. The father of 9/11 had to be in place. No way he wasn’t getting in.
So that time it was the other way around? They used fraud to elect the red?
 YUP. 👍
This is a good point for BS election. Makes sense if they skew it one way or the other. OR massive incompetence/corruption here and there
 Appreciate the nuanced discussion gents!
 🤝
Complex subject. Unfortunately we’ll probably never know all the truth. Very interesting. Thanks
 Simple in its complexity.

Now look into popular vote vs electoral college. That will spin your head.

Pennsylvania is the only state that matters in this US election. Literally.
Popular vote vs electoral college is not the same but similar still to popular vote vs first-past-the-post we have 🍁. The more complex you make the system, the easier it is to “skew” the popular vote 🤷🏾‍♂️
 🔥🎯🎯🎯🎯
They should cut the shit and just keep it simple. Popular vote. That’s it. That’s the system. Then watch hoe they start kissing our asses
 *watch how
If you want a head scratcher, look up after Trump won in 2016, how many times Kamala is on record in rallies and in media saying that "Paper ballots are better because Russia can't hack a piece of paper".

And how she now is all for electronic voting and post ballots.
I have a lot of difficulty believing politicians in general. But career politicians are the worst of them. Like weathervanes

 Worse than weathervanes.
Weathervanes are somewhat useful.

Tip your waitresses. Enjoy your evening. Drive safe.
Succession planning for a new CEO. Selected by a few, not the many.
This election is tough because both candidates are essentially the same as it relates to Israel, Palestine, Iran etc etc.

The war machine decides fates. That’s why this is still a toss up.
Remember when they hung all those Chads?
 No…what?

Thanks. What I don’t get is the voter knows what constitutes a valid and an invalid vote. Why so many invalid ballots…right…that’s where it happened
People are lazy and hope for the best. Remain vigilant!
The machines are pretty standard. Then they print to paper that you insert for counting.

I've seen some cases where you select one on screen and the paper it prints out is switched
Is it that the machines are horrible quality? Is there some corruption going on with the company who makes them? Or purposefully made to change results? The latter sounds like some third world country BS. Primer not great either.
I don't know... Could be either but there are leaked videos of higher ups in dominion gloating about rigging things. Also hard to know if those are real
 Definitely an interesting subject
 no, they are not everywhere
Do you know if it’s a majority of states that has them? Or if it’s mostly pen & paper? Or many different types of voting systems?
All different. In the same state they don't use all one system. Some big cities will use this machines while smaller towns still use pen/paper.
Do you find that the issues there are with the voting mostly occur with those machines or with all the different types of voting?
