 I got a cheap, disposed 2017 iMac from work. It got 1TB of HDD inside. Contemplating whether to install Chrome OS Flex or and older Mac OS cause this thing is slowww with the latest macOS

 Chrome OS is fast but in term of app support, it might not have all my favorite apps

 @b30368b8 The problem is the super slow HDD not OS, try external SSD. Install and boot from it, and it will fly even with ultra cheap usb3 sata ssd.
