Counter:
Homelessness (and billionaires) means capitalism is working as it was designed.

Frankly, it means that ANY SYSTEM that posits that food and housing are not inherent rights, is working as designed.
 @93f3abdb I'm not suggesting otherwise. I'm talking about our concept of the word.
 @3967703f

I don't know that we can extract the two.

You may have noticed that certain people, like the numbnuts I just responded to in this thread, only views societies in which it's EVEN POSSIBLE to have homelessness as "human history".
 @93f3abdb I'm not talking about what is. I'm talking about what should be. That's what I meant. You're talking about something else. This isn't a debate. We were talking about different things. I don't disagree with what you're saying, it's just NOT WHAT I was talking about.
 @3967703f

My point is ONLY that there have been societies where homelessness wasn't even a thing.

So it's not a question of "society", it's a question of THIS society.

That's all I'm saying.
 @93f3abdb From my very first response, I said I agreed with you. What is this about?
 @3967703f

We're not actually having an argument. I'm not sure why you are taking it as such.
 @93f3abdb This is my one day off in a period of difficulty. All I want to do is relax. I'm not arguing with you, but I sense some type of resistance on your part to hear what I'm saying to you. ☮️ ✊🏾
 @3967703f

Possibly.
I understand your claim.
And I understand the poesy therein.

I just don't think that all human interactions necessarily end up in billionaires and unhoused people.
 @93f3abdb Again, I did not suggest that in any way.
