 Yeah i agree. I just bought my first cold wallet. I would like to store on my own wallet instead of exchange. I just cannot bear with the fee at this moment.

 The fees. Sending a wire can easily run $30+ and feed to the receiver 

 Ah i never done any of that, i only use Standard settlement instructions.

 Tips 1, If you learn cold and non-custodial custody, you can send tx's for lower fees that take longer.  Not too low like months or it might never get picked up, but is you set the fee at a few days estimate, it will likely get picked up. So if fees on binance are quoting you15$ for an estimate of a few minutes or hours, say 115 sats pwr vbyte, on your own non-custodial wallet you can set it 80 sats per vbyte and some miner will eventually include itbat that fee rate. Too low, like 40, and it may never get picked up. Google fee estimator and make a judgement.
