When people wanna browse on mobile without huge data package, that would make Damus best low data client too. Im willing to pay 50k sats bounty for that and more would cheap in I believe 🤔

It would also create a nsfw-free version of damus too IMO. Even when media isn’t flagged as nsfw in the content filters under settings/appearance, it wouldn’t show up while browsing, for those who don’t want to see it. This is a great idea Testu! 2 birds one stone!

I wanna be able to go to #Damus settings and click Low data ✅ and when my connection changes to cellular I want all new fetched notes to display text only (links to pics and videos). When we have that, it would make sense to have also a switch in the settings - Always Text Only, cuz at that point why not?
On #Amethyst you can already select if you want to see or not a preview video, gif and meme, you can choose "only on WiFi".
Super easy to accomplish, maybe 5 min to code.
