@a763f0a6 It shows you how inferior society thinks women are. I was a tomboy 60 years ago and nobody cared one bit. But in this day and age most people don’t want boys to act like girls or to like feminine things. Like there’s something wrong with it. Look at all the pejoratives and slurs STILL widely used and with no stigma against women: bitch, pussy, ho, sissy etc. Nobody blinks an eye. That’s how little our culture thinks of women 

 @b21617ab It’s so true. And then on a superficial level what’s considered masculine is a very evolving concept. I think of someone like the Duke of Buckingham, whose idea of chauvinist hyper-masculinity looked like this.
