Gotcha! Well on a positive front, the prices of the older models should also go lower over the next month or so, especially if you're open to a refurb. Lots of ppl are going to be trading in their pixel 7 and 8 soon.

Managed to source a dirt cheap (basically Free) Pixel 7 from a local shop, guys more awake than most and he had a one with a broken back and screen (should be fine with a case) He’s going to remove the google account and fix the SIM card tray. I’m working on him with Bitcoin and I think he might let me pay him in Bitcoin for it too. He’s Muslim so was concerned that there was Riba (interest) which I’ve explained is not possible with Bitcoin and the benefits over Gold (which he holds)
Amazing man! Congrats on the find and on orange pilling someone new. Let me know if you have questions when you're flashing graphene onto your pixel but their website installer is pretty intuitive. Hi man, Got the pixel 7, has no SIM card tray Will I need to get one or will I still be able to flash Graphene to it?
No SIM card tray? As in the hole is there but it's missing the tray? Or there is no cavity for a sim card at all? Shouldn't affect flashing graphene, but just make sure its a legit pixel
Hole there, no tray, got one on Amazon and put it in, no dramas. Next problem is there is still a google account on there. Defo a legit one tho
You should be able to just follow the web installer on the grapheneos website. Shouldn't matter that there is a googhle account
