@c76776cc @5756e48c You've got a nasty overhang on the bottom due to that curve. Chamfering it off would help a bunch.
@c76776cc @5756e48c Or just widen the bottom to make it look more bell-shaped.
@20ffb98d @5756e48c That is exactly what I did not want. I like the shape very much as it is. Maybe I'll split it into two parts, which I'll then glue together again. 🤔
@c76776cc @5756e48c That's an option. Main downside of that is the inevitable seam. Maybe that can be designed around, but I dunno how to do it.
@20ffb98d The seam shouldn’t be a problem, since it will be post processed anyway. A bit of primer to get a nice ground and for the finish I will paint it.
@c76776cc Ah, in that case, multiple parts all the way.
@20ffb98d I think it could work like that. I then simply turn the lower part 180 degrees to the other side when printing.

@c76776cc Overhangs may still bite you, but it definitely looks safer. Check in your slicer to be sure.
@20ffb98d @5756e48c Yeah, I already tried a quick test print of that part, and it was terrible.
@c76776cc @5756e48c The 45 degree rule is a harsh mistress.
