Development takes time, but they're undoubtedly heading in the right direction. Giving users more control over their experience is the only right direction, in my opinion.

 I hope to see soon on #nostr an application that supports publishing privacy.  Everything is private unless the user wants otherwise (private means that I show what I post to specific people or my followers only), and I also have the ability to accept who follows me and who does not follow me
