I don’t know about you but for me every day the water shortage is becoming a rather serious issue in some parts of the world. 😐 #nostr https://image.nostr.build/6d39df497eee5c02227ea982b42e336c424f7df141fd6635c3c5c0225f6802d8.jpg
This has been an issue for as long as humans have made cities. Many places have been abandoned by human settlers because the water ran out. Life goes on.
But before we left cities to go somewhere else or society disappeared. Now wouldn’t it be better to look for alternative measures?
Yeah I think there are a lot of alternative measures already being used. What is the last city that had to actually be abandoned because of water shortage? I think it’s more a news story headline / fear mongering than anything else. They were saying this about Mexico City this year.
Gotta thank Nestle for that. They steak the ground water from the people in Africa to sell it back to them (and to us)
* they steal, not steak. Fu auto-correct 🤣
we basically have the same levels on earth just recycling. don't believe the bs!
In some places it is already unsustainable. But I understand that as long as a catastrophe doesn’t happen in a big city, it still doesn’t matter.
i can only help myself & those i can touch that might listen, i won't drink centralized water for a few reasons.
