Oddbean new post about login | logout no i mean i open coracle.social and my relay doesn't even see one http header appear in the logs snort.social, also sometimes, after a while, they start to send messages to the relay i have no fucking idea what is going on because clients are opaque, cryptic shit to my simple brain i set my relays in client i expect to at least see a FUCKING http connection header appear in my relay logs, because i can get that just by curling at it

Fair point, no complaints from me. You interact as you see fit. Asking for the writeup in those kinds because the wiki and long-form subvert the short-note feed. It stands out compared to the others and is not considered as ephimeral compared to a short form. There's an ongoing conversation regarding the need for general and technical writers, the latter of whom can help detail functionality of clients. cc @Laeserin

Hzrd149 has impressed me, from the beginning. I'm Team Nostrudel. I also don't understand why the others don't just crib off of his stuff. What's the point of FOSS, if nobody learns from other people's code? He's clearly mentally channeling some sort of Nostr Metalayer or something. 😂
At any rate, what I've always liked about his client is that it doesn't tell me what to do or have any voodoo in the background. He just implements functionality and a control for it and is like, yo, have fun with that. It's the dumbest client for the smartest users.
