It takes years to shed decades of fiat conditioning. The classic I hear is the number of sentences that start with "we should..." I call them out - who's we? This thing is decentralised, there is no leader & you don't need permission. Just do it, announce that you've done it & invite others to join you.
Example?
Someone arguing that a future without politicians or the IRS is impossible/unfavorable and that concept of anarchy is bad/dangerous.. This was apparently someone who has been attending the meetup for a while. Also had someone literally respond, "But who will build the roads?" Though to his credit that was his first meetup. That one was actually entertaining 🙂
Another guy said, bitcoin seems to have attracted a lot of libertarians for some reason and now it has to change its culture to be more welcome to other ideologies.
Oh wow. I havent seen toouch of that. But we do have people scared of spending.
