Agreed.  There are no good guys in the Ukraine/Russian conflict.  There is zero benefit to being involved and a huge downside.

Even though I believe one side is better than the other in the Israel/Hamas conflict, I don't want to be involved in that one either.  Every time the US gets involved in a conflict between two nations (at least for the past 50 years), they seem to make matters worse. 

 The US does not just get involved in war. They design it, sow the division, train and fund one or both sides, and finally productize it through the media. 

 I can't say if that is true for all of the conflicts, but it is definitely commonly true.
