I probably wouldn't because notifications annoy me. I try to turn off most notifications... But I think a lot of people would use this. I would prefer a custom feed. Maybe a "my favourites" (⭐️) custom feed would be lovely. 😅 No rush. I'm happy #damus and #nostr. 🙌🎉💯

I can think of some use-cases for it, and a few people I would like to be alerted about when they post. A separate "Favorites" feed might be nice, too. Though on #Amethyst feeds based on a list has filled this gap for me.
Yes. As much as I love plebs I follow, there are a few people I want to hear more from. So either curated lists or this feature of select notifications.
Idea is to have tools to boost signal. I don’t want to have to sift through shitposts and memes every time, or manually look up individuals each time.
Used to use this on Twitter a lot. Make the list of users encrypted please lol. I’m surprised the mute list is still unencrypted on most clients.
Its impossible to implement this with an encrypted list (barring some complicated zero knowledge set inclusion moon math)

Cool idea and glad someone is working on it. Personally, I wouldn't use it. I find minimizing notifications and checking the phone less often leads to greater peace of mind.
