the Boston tea party was a protest against tariffs at the foundation of our country 

why?  well partly because they didn't want to pay more for tea.

tariffs are taxes.  they make prices rise. China is a target. much of what you see at Walmart is Chinese .  poor people shop at Walmart 

99% of umbrellas are Chinese
