normally DNA has coding to suicide the cells after a certain amount of time to prevent the accumulation of errors, and the stem cells have extremely strong protection against radiation and penetration of genetic material into them, as they are the master archive copies of the chromasomes... once the DNA is coded out to run cells it has to die or eventually it becomes cancer

and yeah, mitochondria seems like a big part of what's going wrong with it, but one of the key elements is the process of apoptosis, and high blood sugar also has a big role in how cancer grows because like all cells, their primary building block and energy source is glucose

one of the most simple ways to prevent cancer is actually related to iodine - if the body is overloaded with fluorine and bromine it disrupts the endocrine regulation of energy metabolism and causes the failure of apoptosis

they put fluoride in the water and almost all plastics contain some amount of poly chloro bromo fire retardant compounds that snuff out oxidation and prevent plastics from burning, these in turn poison especially the thyroid and whole endocrine system and you just have to add a high carb diet, especially high sugar, and all kinds of nephrotoxic shit like these artificial sweeteners, and people are going blind, getting cancer, parkinsons, alzheimers

the cure is of course pretty much keto/paleo/carnivore diet and more sunshine and clean air and water, and minimal plastics and for most people that should also include air cleaners that absorb fine particulates (the plastics decay) and the volatile stuff, traces of solvents and these fire retardants offgassing

so yeah... living in cities is out of the question, for these reasons as well... being unable to provide your own food supply is the worst vulnerability you can have
