Oddbean new post about login | logout We all have narcissistic tendencies and as much good social media can do to bring people together unfortunately its a machine that thrives on negativity and division because of how lazy we have become to reflect and pause before responding or ghost instead of putting effort to understand You have to find a group who is willing to understand you in order to have freedom to be yourself. I share beautiful things that some never engage with but always engage to be combative. I'm guilty AF too.

The thing I don't like about it is we are all aware of how fake it all is and how unreasonable people are, but still engage in a lighthearted way to have lighthearted interactions forever lol it's like a waste of time unless you're selling yourself or a brand or whatever you create. Which is a good thing it's more productive, but still. I can't help but come off too intense lol it's a water sign thing. Which is why I truly love learning from people who are NOT like me. I need more air.
