They don’t use nor understand anything cryptocurrency-related. But good option I’ll keep in mind for other circumstances.

Ahh I see so you have the bitcoin only and don’t have fiat to your name but your friend needs fiat and in order for you to send him fiat you’ll have to send via strike which isn’t available yet in Canada or send him bitcoin direct which he’ll have to figure out how to off ramp it and sell for fiat Is that it?
Technically I could do either as far as I’m concerned, but on their end they need to receive it as fiat, so it’s just easier for me to send fiat-to-fiat. A couple people recommended Wise so I’ll check that out.
