 All privacy efforts should be focused on Bitcoin and not shitcoins, if a currency cannot protect you against inflation it is useless, for such a case better use cash.

You just don't want too much exposure to it & it's useless online. 

I'm quite happy with lightning privacy, especially for paying.

 We tried. Bitcoin could have been turned into Monero early on. But it needs to be said that no one wanted more privacy on L1. Just like no one wanted smart contract functionality (that's why we have Ethereum and all the other shitcoins)

 Well, as someone who entered the scene in 2010 I know quite some things that make my confidence seem arrogant to you. But at least I see when a state attack happens.
