Give Primal a try.
no fucking way, not putting my nsec in that bullshitware
I wouldn't put my nsec into a random application, but Primal is fine.
no sure, you have no way of having any checks whatsoever that they don't just log your nsec into some db, but it's fine (and don't fucking start with FOSS, its the biggest bullshitware joke out) https://image.nostr.build/171884308c05087d0f113ba6fa7e9da6715c3193362f65cb34f0b6c3544e2c11.png
There's not one single person that uses Nostr now that doesn't realize that it's very technical still and has a lot of room for improvement. Not liking a FOSS is a weird flex though.
two. years later and we got shit to show for it except for all the purple-washed kumbaya
no nsec bunker support, forget it
Most people don't use nsecBunker. I'd like to see Amber support and I believe that has real potential for us to use.
are u slow? thats nip46 as well
Amber uses NIP-46 but when most people talk about nsecBunker support they want bunker:// URL or Nostr address login. And since you're incredibly smart, I assumed you would be running your own nsecBunker and not using a third party application that you have to trust.
if u can check and compile the app yourself, that's fine too - ie nsec.app unlike amber which is a compiled android app which means U have no way of verifying that it's from the source in their git
You know that you can install Android Studio and compile the application yourself, right?
have you actually ever tried building someone else's mobile app from source? or do you just dream about it?
😂 I do this often. You probably haven't seen my notes about it. That's fine! In a past life, I reported on Android for a decade and compiling apps from source was part of my daily routine. Also compiling custom kernels. Fun times.
wtf, your job was to compile shit?
Reviews, APK teardowns, leaks, opinions, and even compiling shit.
oh man, now it all makes sense
