The Raspberry Pi 5 is 2.5x faster than the Pi 4 (sometimes more!), and I have the FULL rundown — let me walk you through it in this thread. #RaspberryPi #Pi5

For starters, check out my video on the #RaspberryPi 5, it goes through _everything_ in more detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBtOEmUqASQ #Pi5
@3ddab33a The Pi 5 sounds great, I do hope that a CM5 is not far behind and that that one, unlike the CM3 -> CM4 situation, allows for a drop in replacement.
@3ddab33a The 5A/5V power supply requirement is honestly not reasonable. The raspberry pi 4 would flash the low power icon quite often already, even with fairly high-end GaN power supplies. Now it's just impossible to power the pi 5 with any power supply one might already own, which negates the price advantage entirely. I think it ought to be mentionned when comparing prices.
@3ddab33a But what will it cost?
@3ddab33a Wait... weren't they telling people not to expect a Raspberry Pi 5 anytime soon?

Not that I'm complaining.
@3ddab33a When they going to add mPCI or M.2 slots? One with a dev board like a router/switch would be cool too. Never been a fan of the default form factor.

Does this require a heatsink or other cooling? Does anyone know the average temperature vanilla of the ARM chip?
 I'm excited!
