@3ddab33a The 5A/5V power supply requirement is honestly not reasonable. The raspberry pi 4 would flash the low power icon quite often already, even with fairly high-end GaN power supplies. Now it's just impossible to power the pi 5 with any power supply one might already own, which negates the price advantage entirely. I think it ought to be mentionned when comparing prices.

Don't confuse a phone charger (even a high power one) with a power supply, they are very different beasts. 

 @1078146c @5c554d7d This is true—different purposes, chargers like to trickle charge and not worry about voltage going insane constantly to power CPU.
