It's usually someone alone, who looks like they're into street art, ESL, backpacker vibes, blasting french hip hop or reggaeton.
Are they trying to make friends? are they sound tracking their lives. Do they think we care? Do they not care what we think? (I find it hard to believe they don't care about what people around them think, cos they're blasting music at them lol).

Sometimes actually there is a much older guy doing this. And they seem to actually be having fun. Tends to be a different genre of music, like soul. And on a bike.

Yes, I was confusing your observation with this. It was just the other week, sitting quietly on a train, when a small group decided to march through the carriages whilst the lead proudly held out a little JBL Bluetooth speaker… I was incredibly envious and impressed 🤣

Yes, I've occasionally been having a nice sit off next to a river totally ruined by JBL speaker blasting some rubbish lol. Do they fear the sound of the river lol??
I should buy an even bigger sound system and attach it to some mics, place the mics in the river and blast that on full volume 🤔
