They try to instill brand loyalty into newbies who don't read the ToS or know how bitcoin keys work with the illusion that their keys are Aqua compatible only. Thats sad to see. When me and selene came up with the concept for aqua at blockstream the idea was that it would be an easy to use singlesig wallet that wasn’t hard to recover like green. This is not what I expected :/

I'm not trying to destroy anything or anyone's reputation, I just want Bitcoin tech to be clear and precise. Yeh, problematic. I am just no longer sure which wallet to recommend to new users… I have tried them all, and if you don’t know what you are doing, it will end up being a horrible experience. Perhaps Phoenix is the best option? But if you don’t understand a little about channels, it will be problematic. WOS is gone. Blue is gone. Many of the wallets aren’t interoperable. I am a huge supporter of Lightning, but it seems to be getting worse.
