Currently researching Azte.co This is genius. This is efficiently delivering the REVOLUTIONARY FORCE of #Bitcoin to anyone, anywhere. Not mediating the brilliance of #Bitcoin, not putting up a hand saying, "hold on just a minute" ... its WHAM! You got it. This thing is pure unadulterated anarchy power. Thanks, nostr:nprofile1qqsvvgymtym2afgf9enhuwqhkffjnc0mtusxa29ca979n49txkkxurqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp086ssse
Ah yeah, I heard of these but I think bitrefill is better for me here, can get Continente and Steam and Amazon.es Some people say something something still fiat something something but it enables cutting out the bank and that is a win in my book
Yeah, that's another good one. I'm gonna have to repost this note because, as usual, I forgot to label it
This is so relevant to what I was saying yesterday - let the real estate scammers get it last. I'm a little ashamed of the scarcity mindset, but I'm looking at the BILLIONS of people who need #bitcoin and don't even have a bank account. They NEED it. Real estate people don't. I don't want to squander this opportunity to reduce inequality. I don't mean that in a droopy cross-eyed lefty way. Everything we do to reduce inequality only exacerbates inequality, if we do it with fiat. Bitcoin can actually do it. But its up to us to make the actual moves to teach and deliver where it can make the biggest impact. Forget number go up. It got us here, it chose us, now move on to what really matters, which is healing the world.
We are still very early... Hard to find easy bridges to the open market still, but every year we make more progress... The saving as houses crowd are a concurrent process, there is no "central focus". I lament being unable to facilitate Bitcoin tourism by helping local vendors offer LN payments as they don't anyway have CC terminals, it's just a personal business priority since my living depends on spending most of my time at my desk. In any case, for the majority of the world, network access is a problem, it's getting better but other looming issues are likely to play a role. Like what happens after we deploy wireless to the boonies and then the sun blurts and all that gear is bricked? The benefit of the cash is clear. The technological barrier is huge if you can't maintain connectivity. This is going to escalate over coming decades but at the same time, it's not just deploying tech but spreading knowledge and building resilient networks that can't be easily shut down by strong bursts of radiation. Or in shorter words, fight the battle you have nearest you.
Aren't they complementary? Aztec allows BUYING Bitcoin using vouchers you get from retail stores. Bitrefill allows SELLING Bitcoin for vouchers you can use at retail stores in exchange for goods At least that's how I remember them…
they seem to have extended it to gift cards/vouchers also, but for sure i've never been in any part of the world where they are in use (been mainly in EU, UK and former yugoslavia)
