I had hernia surgery a few months back. Same thing. Bloat you with gas. The shoulder pain was the worst. Mine lasted 5-6 days and the actual surgery pain just cleared about 2 months in. 

 That’s actually super relieving to hear. I was starting to get worried it should be gone by now. It’s such an odd/distracting feeling 

 I could feel the gas roll around in my gut region too for that entire time. It just makes you feel fat and bloated for quite a bit longer than you think. 

 Yeah I feel fat as fuck right now and yucky
