So for a laparoscopy, they have to fill you up with gas like a balloon so they can get around in there I guess. The gas is very uncomfortable and lasts a few days (I feel it all the way up to my shoulders) The ONLY way to get rid of it is farting. One fart at a time, I am slowly feeling better. Please pray I fart more though🫂 I could really use a big one before bed.
Keep moving. Keep farting.
I’m trying! Moving sucks, but I’m doing it anyways
🫂
Oh but I was right and my doctor was wrong. He said there was no way it was endo because all the pain was in my back. Turns out my uterus and retroverted and she cut out three chunks that were pushing back there. 🖕🖕🖕 Fuck yeah PPO insurance, I self referred.
I remember learning that it can cause back pain and I’m an idiot. This slow-mo implosion of the current system is not going to be fun to navigate, but it needs to die.
I don’t really blame him. I read a study of a bunch of doctors and a large percentage don’t feel comfortable diagnosing or treating endo. That’s why I was like fuck you, I’m seeing a specialist 😎
Did they go in there with an ice cream scoop? 🍦
I'm so jealous
Of the gas? I can bottle you some. It will cost you though 😂
Sorry that you are feeling bad. Did you try a hand stand?
Not supposed to yet, although I am very good at handstands 😂
Or jumping around?
Been there done that got the tshirt. A few times. Including once for weight loss surgery and once for cancer surgery. You’ll get passed this and being up to making us all laugh in no time.
Look up some fart-asana in Yoga
I’m a little freaked out, and am wondering what in the vegan heck you’re doing to yourself. Getting blown up like a balloon, and moving at the same time? Is this some sort of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory thing?
Have you tried Benadryl?
Not yet. Idk if I can take that while I’m still on the pain meds. I get nervous because I’m still on a bunch of stuff for like another day, but then I can try
Makes sense! My wife had crazy itching from gas after a C-section and Benadryl really helped.
Do they use this gas stuff for c sections too? I have a lot of itching 😢
Yes. Apparently!
You just need a big hug to squeeze it out of yeah🫂
Empathy. Hey babe … I’ve had my tummy cut open five times … & dealt with laparoscopies too. Cause issues. Here are some things that have helped me in the past 🙏 If you can’t or won’t take Gas-X you might try activated charcoal. Heat or ice to “pop” the bubbles. Get some pear juice if possible. It will make bowel movements easier. Drinking peppermint or ginger tea helps you pass it too. 🙏💜🫂
May the #fartstr be with you.

Damn what a funny movie 😂 gotta do a rewatch when this shit is done
Watch all of them now. You’ll be laughing so hard you’ll fart all that gas out in record time!
I've had lap surgeries, and the gas aching your shoulders is a really weird feeling. I had just had my gall bladder removed, and had a ticket to the second Hobbit movie, opening night, in fancy-vision, whatever the hot cinema tech was at the time. Sat through that bitch, not a short movie, in pain, mostly from the gas. Harshest movie experience to date for me, and I've been to a lot in the theater. Of course, also hard to keep the farts in; poor bastards around me may have suffered a bit too. Packed theater, keeping it quiet - who's to know? Get better soon - and stay out of theaters for a few days ;) Also the best are giant morning farts! Or so my wife claims, I don't really have much to offer after going carnivore.
can you move? :o yoga helps w passing gas lol
I can do very light moment. I’m not supposed to bend I guess or do anything strenuous for a few weeks. I basically just waddle around RN
Let’er rip tater chip!
magnesium? (maybe?)
I’m doing coffee first and if that doesn’t work, then yes..I have no choice 😂
u gonna laugh but this really works :D https://www.umzu.com/products/zupoo
Dude I need some. I’m ready for a suppository. I give no fucks
Its for a real serious gut clean. Keep a toilet nearby 😂
That name is… classy
I had hernia surgery a few months back. Same thing. Bloat you with gas. The shoulder pain was the worst. Mine lasted 5-6 days and the actual surgery pain just cleared about 2 months in.
That’s actually super relieving to hear. I was starting to get worried it should be gone by now. It’s such an odd/distracting feeling
I could feel the gas roll around in my gut region too for that entire time. It just makes you feel fat and bloated for quite a bit longer than you think.
