I would love to have a thing like $ Boost but in a "set it and forget it" kind of way. For example, I write a note and add '$Payload 1000' to a '$ Boost 10' tag. If the note gets renoted (boosted) 10 times then each of the 10 renoters gets 100 sats. The trick is that the note embargoes 1000 sats because it talked with my @Alby extension/wallet. If the second argument ($ Boost 10) is met then the 1000 sats are automatically distributed without me having to take any further action. If the argument is not met then the 1000 sats simply become unencumbered. Can I get some good folks to pontificate on how this might work? Can it work? @calle 👁️⚡👁️ @hodlbod @PABLOF7z @fiatjaf @ODELL

id tackle this with a bot monitoring events similar to my BoostZapper bot that zaps replies of an event its monitoring. logically not much different to look for posts that are boosts vs replies and holding back until a threshold is met. The bot is currently configured by anyone via DMs with @Jessica Botzzapp but i want to make a web interface for improved usability and to help explain how it works to new users.

This is basically the same problem as subscriptions; in order to draft your balance automatically you need something that has access to the wallet running in the background. This could be done with a DVM maybe, but ultimately you'd want your wallet to support some interface that allows for pre-approvals of certain types. This is all outside my area of expertise, but maybe nostr:nprofile1qywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytndw46xjmnewaskcmr9wshxxmmd9uq3xamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvhszxthwden5te0wfjkccte9eekummjwsh8xmmrd9skctcqyrsl7wla6njqx9v4nvytflxgy302552xxlsafmp2u9ntwse5r0s67er0qd0 would have concrete suggestions.
