I was really impressed by RFK Jr.’s speech and understanding of #Bitcoin at the conference. For those saying he has no shot or it’s a throwaway vote, I’d be curious for your take on what he says in this interview:

 it’s a good one!
He's the only one who actually gets it. He put in the time, he did the homework. He actually purchased a sizable amount. He also has not released shitcoins and NFTs. He did not keep saying crypto like a fool
Tommy - I'm not able to zap you for this post. Pls add an LN address. Thx.
( and hard agree. )
I have never voted before. RFK will be my first ever vote. The first candidate in my lifetime worth voting for. Please don’t give up on him America!
We must support whom is taking the right path not whom has a better chance to win 🧐
Unfortunately the democratic system as we know it does not reward that strategy
Democratic system are as good as the people doing the voting. Take a look at Canada 🙁
current "democratic" systems reward "false dichotomy fallacy" and proof of stake over open discourse and proof of work
There's no such thing as a throwaway vote but he doesn't have a shot.

Vote for who you believe is the most qualified based on whatever reasons you set.

However, this isn't the year we end the two party system.

Either the Democrat or Republican nominee will be the next president.

A large nunber of voters will be voting based solely on the letter following their name. That will not change in 2024.
 > However, this isn't the year we end the two party system.

I have a bad feeling this will be the excuse every election cycle… A massive popular vote number for a 3rd party/independent would send a loud signal to get the ball rolling, no?
It's been an excuse for several election cycles. And it's a valid one.

Unfortunately, Bitcoin isn't an issue that will create a massive popular vote for a 3rd party/independent.

Is the system rigged? Absolutely.

Will RFK be able to overcome it? No.
Idc about Bitcoin in this context. My point is if everyone has the attitude “this won’t make a difference” every election cycle, we will NEVER disrupt or end the uniparty bullshit.
I understand entirely and I've been in your boat.

I left the GOP shortly after 9/11, or rather, their response. The Patriot Act was too much.

I quickly got involved with the Libertarian party and started working for candidates there, trying to move the needle.

However, most weren't serious and it was more about visiting the library once a month to complain about government among one another. Not real change.

I've since moved back to the GOP (with Ron Paul's race in '08) because there's more I can work with here.

Since that time, I've talked to 1000s of voters, all across the nation. One of the most common responses, when asking if they'd support this person or that is, "Are they a Republican/Democrat?" That's the number one question asked about any candidate.

Roughly 80% of the electorate has their mind already made up. They'll be voting either R or D.

20% are real independents. They'll move to the candidate that they believe will do the most for their wallet and increase stability.

Can this change? Sure.

But you'll need to do a lot more work to convince others that there is a viable and better candidate. Just voting, or even donating, isn't enough. And, unfortunately, most supporters of a third party or independent usually aren't willing to put in the work to get it done (this is true among everyone really, but it harms third parties and independents more because they don't have the bases already built.)
Never underestimate the name Kennedy on a ballot. (It's what I heard saying...)
Polls don't mean a lot but it's often the only measure we have.

RFK is currently around 8.7% and has been mostly unchanged since April.

Perot hit 19%, which I believe was the best performance from an independent since 1912.

RFK's best shot is to somehow wrestle the DNC nomination from Kamala. He does that, and odds change REAL fast.
As my favorite macro guy always says: Let's watch!
Of all candidates I’ve seen, RFK has demonstrated the best understanding of bitcoin and proposed the best policy so far.

If he does not win, hopefully the losing major party will evaluate what went wrong and recognize that they needed to be more aggressively pro bitcoin. Additionally I think if 3rd parties garner enough votes, win or lose, they get federal funding and better ballot access in the future, which is important.

RFK probably has my vote but I’ll be looking to other 3rd party candidates as well.
I like his take on not voting out of fear. Vote with love, vote for the candidate that reinforces the world you want to see. Seems like it's clearly RFK based on his public learning so far. Additionally, he has built a great team of advisors around him unlike Trump who has made promises and mentioned he will build a team of advisors..
Voting or acting on your conscience is never a throwaway.
I know what I'll be listening to tonight.

The people throwing their votes away are the ones who feel like they have to vote for the lesser of two evils. Telling me I’m throwing my vote away because I choose the third option, is the dumbest fucking thing I have heard of in quite some time.
#RFK understands, for now, #bitcoin as a monetary entity better than Trump, but #Trump understands Bitcoin as an industry much better.

Trump understands the basal requirements for a thriving industry; CHEAP ENERGY.

RFK has NO credible(well maybe in LaLaLand) path to cheap energy, because he’s fully on the #climatescam and in addition he hates nuclear.

More people in the Bitcoin space should think about this obvious flaw in his Bitcoin policy. It all becomes impossible 🤷
Trump on the other hand understands this very well, because he is grounded in ”thinking simple”; ”what requirements must be fullfilled if we want to reach this goal? Ok. Then we must fullfill these requirements so that we can get it done”.
He was a very successful builder who always did the job on time, or earlier.
And he has a credible path to energy abundance.
And a final point: ”Free Ross” appeared to be a very important point for many. If they are SERIOUS in that regard they would not risk to dilute the chances for Trump to get to power. But I suspect they really don’t care. For them it is more important to feel good about themselves while they’re NOT voting for ORANGSUPERBADMANwhoDONTUNDERSTAND BITCOIN😇
a hopeful political interview. almost as scarce as bitcoin.
He was allowed to say all the things about Bitcoin that Trump was not allowed to say.
A perfect wingman.
Not forgetting Senator Lummis, who sealed the deal in the end.

Are you impressed by someone who believes in the most dangerous superstition?

 Thanks for this amazing interview
RFK for AG then rebuild democrat party in his image
RFKJr is by far the better candidate, he is smarter in all domains that concern the people, with him as president things will get better.
