The tools will get better, but it's unrealistic to expect that the problem can be solved.  The reason centralized social media sucks is because they are trying to meet unrealistic expectations with technology.  Europe is going so far as to force people to install AIs on their own computers to censor what they post.  I'm not shaming any one.  I'm trying to keep expectations realistic.
