Your assumption is correct, once you upload a video you’ll get a link that you can share in your notes. We are not yet performing any sort of transformation on the video, so we suggest for you to use HandBreak and transcode it into Web Optimized 720p mp4. h264 codec is good for SDR, while h265 for HDR but will limit the compatibility somewhat. If you later decide to delete the video, the link will stop working as you expected. Our service uses CDN to ensure fast delivery of the content, so it’s best to keep the size under 500mb which is sufficient for an hour long high quality video content in 720p (including moderately dynamic one with 30 fps frame rate) . Hope that helps 🐶🐾🫡🫂
The reason I am suggesting 720p or less is because a lot of clients (video viewers) are on mobile networks and on the phone, and we do not yet have VBR (Variable Bit Rate) implemented that would have taken care of that problem. I am planning to have something ready this year, so please stay tuned 🐶🐾🫡
Thanks for getting back to me. I will look into your suggestions. I will do it to all my videos. I may have found a temporarily fixed on my video challenge. To everyone responded, thank you for all the help! 😊
I just downloaded HandBrake and it is very useful piece of tool! I was searching for video encoder when I posted my question to reduce the media size and could not get a decent one. This is great! You are legend! 😀
Thanks! If you have any questions about video transcoding, please do not hesitate to ask 🐶🐾🫂💜
