Why isn't Swan on Nostr?
They are @cory. But they're not active. And no one from Swan is active either. Maybe there's an exception here and there, but on the whole, they're not on Nostr.
What's the backstory on "Simps at Swan"?
Swan puts a lot of effort into maintaining a pristine image on Twitter, so a lot of people simp for them and their services. They also sponsor a lot of podcasts. And are always embroiled in some kind of drama. And do business with questionable people. I was one of those simps before, but I've fallen off the bandwagon and moved on.
Gut feeling says any former VCs promoting their company in order to be the first Bitcoin-only IPO in the USA...has additional (or ulterior) motives.

Consider the good intentions of promoting Bitcoin Adoption. Consider WHO or WHY you preach Bitcoin. A psychedelic approach to introducing newcomers (or not)... The Teacher appears when the Student is ready. You can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink.

Facts. How do you think Nostr gains critical mass?
I think it’s will be in waves like with bitcoin! Mostly when centralized platforms will ban users and restrict their rights that’s where the major moves will be happening. Also spreading the message by already existing plebs will help to boost it.
