What do you do now?

I struggled in elementary school but I was smarter than most of the other kids without really trying. When I got to middle school I was in the more advanced classes but it was soul crushing work that I hated. When I got to high school I started fucking around and just had fun with girls and friends. Getting Cs was so easy compared to getting As and the end result was the same diploma. My rebellious nature came out at that time. 

 I went to trade school and became a machinist.
Math and science are my forte and was no challenge, all the other courses, beside art, were of no interest. 

There are no machine shops were I live now so I do carpentry and painting.  

 Nice! Trade school is a great alternative that I wish I knew about in my early years. 

 I tested and got accepted by the National Tooling & Machinig Association and got paid to go to trade school. I was all over that! 😂 And graduated top of class.  

 Meanwhile people take on 6 figure debt that they can’t default on in order to study the philosophy of tampons 

 It's insanity.
