Nice! I’m looking to get into welding, playing around with a few jobs at home
If you need any advice, please let me know. I'm very good at getting people up to speed with welding! 😁
Thanks mate, Will do. I’m looking at picking up a second hand Cigweld 160 MIG / Stick welder. 10 amp ⚡️
I would highly recommend NOT learning to weld with the MIG process first. It's going to hold you back from learning how metal behaves. Stick is hard to learn in your own, but, it's a better place to start than mig. TIG really should be the first place to start even if it has the steepest learning curve because it's really about the simplest way to get intimately acquainted with how metal melts.
Good info! Yeah I’d read that learning to weld stick was a good beginning point because of its simplicity.
