And it makes the url field more difficult to use too. That said, I've heard good things about the side tabs in the ARC browser. Years ago I enjoyed using OmniWeb in the early days of OS X as it had an interesting sidebar implementation of thumbnails. A sidebar tabs option for tabs seems more interesting!
