Are you measuring your muscle and fat mass accurately? My main concern would be muscle loss.
What are you eating in addition to the steak? Can’t imagine the steak by itself is more than 600 calories or so
Fasting is great even if you are weight training. It’s a myth that it burns muscle. Dr. Jason Fung is the man on this topic highly recommend his book and yt channel

In order for your body to burn muscle it would have to be a ridiculously long amount of days. Dr. Fung said it best, if you have no heat in your house and needed to keep warm you wouldnt start with burning your fancy couch would you?

Exactly, pretty extreme. If you’re pushing 200lbs a 3 day fast would still be a good idea for burning fat, throw in weights and you’re also building muscle

I have been doing it for long. It will not only keep you lean but also healthy overall. I have noticed that it is very easy to do if we eat our only meal around noon time and develop a habit of sleeping early. with this, by the time you feel hungry, it is time to sleep. walking along with omad is awesome
Doing great! I think it matters mostly that you are actively working a diet, which means you are much more aware of what's going in so by that measure most diets will work in any case because of discipline and motivation. I always follow the diet i am on (whole food keto with 16/8 intermittent fasting) and sometimes i can do this for a month without interruptions so that there are no regrets if i do step aside from it for a few days. I may gain a little but i will naturally go back into the diet and it keeps my weight ideal and my energy levels high.
