Dune
Ah good guess, but no. I loved the newest Dune btw, how did it live up to your vision? I'm a big fan of Villeneuve's style too though.
He messed up the best line in both the book and the original movie. "Mood ? Moods are for cattle, and love making. On guard young Atreidies!" Most western thought and philosophy can be condensed to this line, and they took it out !
Since others are weighing in: I loved it, except the Navigators. Way too humanoid (I’m choosing to believe they were just at an early stage of development or something) Looking forward to Part II!
The one caveat is I liked it because I already kind of knew what was going on. I brought a Dune noob to see it and it was a little harder for him to follow than I think the older movie would have been.
I'm a huge Villeneuve fan, as well. Blade Runner 2049 was top-notch! 👌 The new Dune was okay. 🤷♂️ You can tell it's a building up to something big.
