 @f1c6c5c3 Hey, I'm very sorry but it is called "Fediverse", not "Mastodon". The fediverse is practically the platform you're using, and Mastodon is the frontend/client you are using.

Why that? Well... Mastodon is not the only server software communicating over the ActivityPub protocol (which the Fediverse is using). There is Firefish or Akkoma for example, which are microblogging servers too. But there is Pixelfed for image sharing and even PeerTube for videos, and there's so much more out there.

In simple(r) terms:
Mastodon is the server software, and is not the only one out there. The Fediverse is the actual platform.
