@09e1d236 I was just talking to someone yesterday about a different subject but with a conclusion that applies to this, too: I think the hubris of the wealthy and powerful includes an incredibly toxic misconception that reality will be what they want it to be because that is what they want. In other words, if they want ad $$ and that comes from corporate brands, of course the user will want a brand-centered approach. A terrible & destructive miscalculation overall.
