Mastodon, Peertube, PixelFed, etc. are not really compatible.  These are several loosely coupled protocols.  So we can simply include Nostr and Bluesky in the Fediverse term. 

 But Mastodon, Pleroma, Calckey, Soapbox are in fact interopable.
