@669563d8 That's not clever or helpful. If you are going to just pay your fine in an annoying way, you aren't "fighting back". And what happens if they just had a big change counting machine to account for assholes? Are you going to bring bars of gold as your way to "stick it to the man"?
I looked it up, they are only required to accept 5$ in 5 cent coins. He's still gonna have to come back and pay the 60$
@669563d8 @ec56c728 in Canada, there are limits in how much coin you can pay with, section 8.2 of the Currency Act: - $40 in toonies ($2 coins) - $25 in loonies ($1 coins) - $10 in dimes, quarters, or half dollars - $5 in nickels - $0.25 in pennies (even though we don’t make them anymore) No rule about the coins not being in a “secure” state, like a jar of honey or maple syrup.
