I know, but this is not the point. Point is it’s light KYC and next step will be full KYC. I want privacy else I can stick to the traditional system.
Ya I know what you mean. A while back when I didn't have their lightning setup yet, I was using alby which was setup through my Bluewallet. People could zap it but I couldn't see it on primal, I had to go on the bluewallet to see.
I tried to put fake info and it rejected me. The wallet allowed me to send sats to it before asking for KYC but now I can’t pull them out without giving personal information. So GFY primal

Hey @alejandro, that doesn't sound right. If you were able to activate the wallet and sends sats to it, the app shouldn't ask you for anything else at a later time. Are you really not able to withdraw? What is the error message you are getting?
Hi @miljan, I was able to send sats to the wallet prior to activating it. That is a design flaw. I can activate it but I need to provide you with my real email address and I refuse to do so. I don’t know why I can’t use my own wallet. https://i.nostr.build/ml537.jpg

Before hearing about the workaround, I’ve built @ZapOnBehalf which creates a zap event (mentioning you) and DMs you the invoice. The bot never custody any funds, the invoice is the direct invoice to the author of the zapped event. I’m keeping the bot alive just in case they close the loophole, until I’ll buy my next phone (which will NOT be an iPhone).

Primal wanted to allow users to bring their own wallet but Apple wouldn’t approve this feature alongside the built-in wallet that contains ApplePay purchasing, because it would cut into their profits. The result of this is note zaps are enabled on Primal but not on Damus (unless you enable the hack). It’s ridiculous.
Nostur is great too! You just need to customize your interface in the settings to show a lightning emoji⚡️
