My bed broke a few weeks ago, now I just have the box spring and mattress directly on the floor and nothing bad has happened yet?

Why should I spend a million sats on a new frame I don't see the reason
 wtf is a box spring
It pretty much exists to lift the bed higher up I think
 Bourgeois altitude.
I learned recently that they’ve been phased out of most new bed setup. Bed tech moves fast
We I bought my last bed 4 years ago I had to fight to not get a fucking box spring, it was the only thing shops wanted to sell. Now rhey figured out that nobody want it, thanks god.
 Bed shopping is the worst
No, car shopping is the absolute worst.
 Touché!

What kind of a frame costs a million sats?
 Canadian ones 🐸
Depends if you want to get laid or not 😂
 Hahaha 100%
Females require a frame? I thought they just want $100 for 92 seconds of passion
We need to tie you up to something 😉😜
Lol depends on quality or quantity
They really are weird about this one. I don't understand it. I guess frugality and creativity aren't attractive qualities in a man.
Good Aesthetics lead to comfort and ease which are prerequisites for getting laid. It’s about the environment and what it portrays
Have some spare pallets or 2x4s? You can build a frame
I am useless I can only build relays
 can confirm
Drop the frame, tell your partner(s) you have a japanese bed.
there's some potential that you will trap moisture under your boxspring, and then grow mold.

but it depends on how your boxspring is constructed and the humidity in your bedroom.

I think you can get a decent frame for way less than a million sats.
Many are sleeping way beyond their means

Sleeping on the floor is actually so much better
i too prefer just sleeping on the floor nowadays, with only a yoga mat and blanket under me
but the floor never gets very cold here ymmv
In my experience, the only reason is women.

I used to sleep in a nest of blankets directly on the floor until I a gf.
We didn't have a bed frame for years, and it drove my wife crazy. I'm weird with furniture, where I won't buy something, until I find the exact thing I want. Took a few years, then I finally found a frame I liked at a price I was willing to pay. Haven't regretted it. It makes our bedroom look nice.
but why drive crazy? They just think it looks bad?

I'm beginning to think there is some kind of instinctual thing going on here
I'm not sure, honestly... They may just like the idea of being fucked on a pedestal, instead of the floor 😂
 Bugs and spiders?
I think they can easily climb up frames too??
They can indeed, I guess it's easier to step out of a bed that is at sitting height then.
 Simple and cheap/free… https://image.nostr.build/30b18ffe67a622d804b08beb2e68918d5bec989851e0acede67816c3b81c9751.jpg https://image.nostr.build/a1aeab3517bb96d11518f82d2f84d49f2169f5346aa87daf4ad7ad8b8ea24016.jpg
There palet are far from free and you definitely don't want an old, roten, infested one under your bed.
Depends where you source them. I got several free from a retailer’s warehouse for a different project - of course you give them a sand and a quick treatment.
No frame here, mattress directly on the floor for 2 years now
Beautiful Asian girls won’t play with your pp if you’re sleeping on the floor
 can't put shit under it
You’re perfectly fine to keep using it directly on the floor but having a bed frame looks more attractive to most people and may help with ventilation under the bed. It can also give you additional storage with the addition of a bed skirt to cover what you keep under there. Finally, depending on your height, it may be more comfortable for you to get in and out of a bed elevated on a frame.

It's better for the mattress to be lifted up on some thin bars for keeping it fresh..
When it's lying on cold underground without ventilation it will not have a chance to get completely dry and there is a high probability for mold to grow inside.
