If he was trustworthy- if democrats could trust his word he could have kept his job.

But if he was a guy with integrity who would stand up to the fascists he would never have gotten it.

 @58ebcb01 I'm not a fan of McCarthy's. To suggest that he was ousted for any other reason than for working with Dems on a last minute deal to avoid a government shutdown is, at best, uniformed and at worst, naive.
