My parents are in their 80s and my exchanges with are starting to get weird. Yesterday my mother, who has been sick for a couple of years, was worried that if my father dies, she won't have the money to take car of his body. My father is far healthier and likely to out live her. I told her not to worry about it I would pay to cremate him. She says isn't that very expensive. I replied only if he's still alive when we do it.
@48bfa577 Did she notice what you said?
@48bfa577 LOL...you are bad. My parents are divorced. My Dad will be 81 in a couple weeks, handles all his own investments, cuts 7 acres of grass, and keeps his giant manse of a home in great shape...while still doing M&A consulting. My mom is turning 79 later this month and I have started to notice her memory is starting to slip. She's also becoming super stubborn. Fun times.
