My parents are divorced. My Dad will be 81 in a couple weeks, handles all his own investments, cuts 7 acres of grass, and keeps his giant manse of a home in great shape...while still doing M&A consulting. 
My mom is turning 79 later this month and I have started to notice her memory is starting to slip. She's also becoming super stubborn.
Fun times.
