 I'd say much earlier than that. Maybe two years? I joined Nostr around August 2022 and the UI experience was so bad I left and didn't check it out again until December.

 yes similar timeframe - real GUI is about year old !
real hard work went for about 2years behind the scene - astral.ninja was one of first browser ui
