If you could go back and change anything in your life what would it be?
Me? I would have had more kids.
Alot of people say that. I'm currently in the toddler stage with my two and they're alot of work.

Would you really do it all again?
Toddler stage is hands down the hardest and puberty/high school is a different set of hards. Now that I have 2 adults and 2 easy teenagers, Id absolutely do it again and have more. Nothing I have personally accomplished feels better than seeing my kids successes and happiness. I also find my relationships with them meaningful and fulfilling in ways I never anticipated.
That's amazing i wish to succeed as you have. How did you manage the friend/parent situation because all I wanna do is be my kids best friend.
They're that age for such a short period of time.

It's not until they get to their late teens & they start becoming independent does the reality of them leaving set in. That's when you realise that you should have knocked a couple more out a decade ago.
Isn't it strange that people with no kids do not think like that at all.
 agree
i would focus more on technique in baseball. also, i’d marry a japanese woman, but still avoid most seafoods
To have bought bitcoin in 2012 instead of ignoring it like a numpty. And to have had more self belief in my early 20s
nothing. i wouldn't want to change something and have it alter or change too much from my current timeline. i love my life and wouldn't want to ruin anything.
I would have never met my cheating ex-wife.
Lol I have a cheating ex too. I do think being married to him has made me a much better wife though. I’m grateful for my husband every day.
Drugs. I did cocaine from age 16 to 36 and im 40 now. I lost all kinds of good relationships
no drugs or different drugs or drugs in different ways?
No drugs. I damage my body my soul and loved ones
You didn't damage your soul, your soul is the part of you that is eternal.

You may have damaged your connection to your soul in this realm. This connection can & should be repaired. Start by forgiving yourself & feeling the pain that you've been suppressing.

You're worthy of love but you must first learn to love yourself. 💚
Thank you. Yes i forgave myself and others
I did the whole aa 12 steps and what helped me a lot was writing step 4
dig it. I'm a bit older than you, and I think we are still young enough to benefit from our learnings in youth.

good luck on your journey

for me, and in being serious, it's smoking cigs that has been the worst. Family and health are really impacted by it. the other drugs havent had the staying power, or impact

I wonder if there's a 12 step group for cigs
That’s hard, but also incredible that you have been clean for 4 years after 20 years of addiction. I hope you share you story as often as you can and with as many people as you can. I’m sure so many will find inspiration in your story.
