Was just talking to someone who just had a kid. Mom wants to stay home and be with the kid but they can’t afford to live on one income. It’s what the boomers normalized for us but it’s a terrible way to live. 

In some ways Covid was a blessing as it forced normalization of WFH. It’s been great for families. I love that I can go play with my toddler, even for a few mins between calls. Just being present is huge and I can’t imagine being out of the house from 7-7, and basically missing my kids’ entire day.
