Indeed in Bosnia is even hard to find plastic bottles. Glass everywhere.
bosnia is fairly high up on my list of preferred SHTF settlement locations, especially the mountains just southeast of Sarajevo - high altitude, lots of clean water, and lots of good orthodox and muslim people around i spent time in the northern and southern capitals of bosnia (banja luka is basically the srpska republika capital) and overall i felt that things were more secure and stable in the south than the north you can still get actual BEEF in bosnia, it's getting harder in serbia now also, and bosnian cheeses and yogurts are the best, especially the kaimak i think overall the quality of food production is a bit better in srpska republica but bosne i hercegovine are solid, and i think partly that is to do with the bosnian muslims, who are extremely conservative, they make the serbian orthodox look left wing and progressive
I drove it all over the places there and had the same experience southeastern in those mountains is the place to be...I was amazed how cheap things are, gasoline. And people so friendly. About Muslim I agree, by no accident Muslim women are truly women.
oh yeah... in my list of ideal wives it's midwest christian woman and bosnian muslim woman that are in my mind, above all else, simple, dutiful, practical, adoring, and steadfast practically speaking i think i'm gonna go in the direction of the midwest though, just because english and less complications, and i'd kinda prefer to go to a church than 5x a day prayers at the neighbourhood mosque, though i'm not against either, and i have practised salah as well
oh yeah i should add also, just over the border near there is a little town of Serbia called Uzice... absolutely beautiful place, and the partner of a good friend of mine from montenegro was from that town and they make the best Komplet Lepinja in all of yugo... he made me one, and i felt like superman all that day
